Gather
At River City, we believe the church is not a building, a service, or an event - its family of believers united by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While the gathering itself is not the Church, we see in scripture that the Church gathers.
Coming together as a family is an essential rhythm of following Jesus, and it's in these gatherings that we worship, encourage one another, and are equipped to live on mission.
Sunday Gatherings
Where we worship together and hear God's Word.
Join us on Sundays at 9:00AM and 10:30AM as we gather to lift up the name of Jesus, study Scripture, and grow as disciples who make disciples.
For families, KidCity is available during the 10:30AM service, providing a fun and Gospel-centered environment for your kids to learn and grow.
Why We Gather
We gather because the Gospel calls us into community. While following Jesus is deeply personal, it's not meant to be done in isolation. Through Sunday gatherings and House Churches, we practice being the Church, a family on mission, encouraging one another and proclaiming the good news of Jesus to the world.
We'd love for you to join us as we gather, grow, give, and go. Let's worship, connect, and live on mission together.
House Churches
Where the Church lives out Gospel Community.
The heartbeat of River City happens in House Churches. These are smaller gatherings throughout the week where we share meals, study Scripture, and live life together. House Churches are where the "one anothers" of Scripture - love, encourage, bear with, serve - come to life.
Why House Churches?
-
The reflect the early church model found in Acts 2:42-47
-
They are the primary way we disciple one another and live out the mission of making disciples
-
They provide a space for deeper relationships and mutual care
