We believe God created us to live in community, not isolation. Gathering is where we encounter God's presence, grow in our faith, and connect as family.

Sunday Gatherings

Join us every Sunday at 9:00Am or 10:30AM as we worship, learn from God's word, and grow together as family. KidCity is available during the 10:30AM service, creating a space for kids to encounter Jesus.

House Churches

Beyond Sundays, we meet in House Churches throughout the week to build deeper relationships, study scripture, and encourage one another. House Churches are where we live out authentic Gospel community in smaller settings.

As a Jesus-centered family on mission, we believe in living out four key habits that shape our church culture: Gather, Grow, Give, and Go. These habits help us align our lives with the Gospel and reflect God’s love to one another, our city, and the world.

GROW

Growth is a lifelong journey of becoming more like Jesus. At River City we cultivate growth through intentional discipleship, spiritual practices, and accountability.

Gospel Foundations Course

A 6-week course designed to equip you with a deeper understanding of the Gospel and prepare you for meaningful involvement in House Churches.

Spiritual Disciplines

Discover practices like prayer, fasting, Sabbath, and scripture study to help you grow in being with Jesus and being transformed by Jesus.

DNA Groups

These gender-specific groups of three are where accountability and Gospel application happen on a personal level.

Resources

Dive into past sermons, articles, and other tools designed to equip you for spiritual growth and understanding God's word.

GIVE

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others." - 1 Peter 4:10

We believe generosity is a lifestyle, not a one-time act. Giving of our time, talents, and resources reflects God's abundant grace and helps build His Kingdom.

Serve the Family

Join a team to use your gifts in serving the church. Whether it's in KidCity, hospitality, worship + production, or other areas.

Serve the City

Engage in outreach projects and partnerships that meet practical needs in the greater Wausau area.

Support the mission of River City through joyful and sacrificial giving. Your generosity allows us to equip the Church, serve others, and make disciples.

Incarnational Homes (Biblical Hospitality)

Use your home as a place of mission, inviting neighbors, friends, and even strangers to experience the love of Jesus.
